Google Docs is the GDrive

So far, Google Docs was an online office suite that can create and edit different types of documents. That will change. We were announced that Google Docs will not host the documents but will only allow the user to upload other file types.

For this, Google Docs will offer users 1 GB, as originally offered as Gmail and Picasa Web is currently providing. Those who need more space will have to buy. 1 GB will cost 25 cents a year. Interestingly, the maximum size supported by Google Docs to a file is 250 MB, is 10 times higher than an attachment to Gmail or Yahoo.
